Alberto Meda and Arcangelo Sassolino: a conversation / Friday 19 January 2024

Triennale Milan
Viale Alemagna 6, 20121 – Milan
Friday 19 January 2024

Alberto Meda is a positivist engineer who has brought new experiences to the field of design. He has a passion for coercion, for the enhancement of materials artificially combined with others, and for movement that creates new conditions of balance. Incursions into the world of engineering, knowledge of materials and a past in the field of design make Arcangelo Sassolino‘s artistic research a surprising journey. On Friday 19 January 2024, at 6.30 pm, at the Triennale Milano, the two authors will compare their practices in a conversation led by engineering historian Tullia Iori and the director of the Italian Design Museum, Marco Sammicheli. Institutional greetings by Damiano Gullì, curator of contemporary art and public programmes, and Irene Sassetti, National Council of Engineers.
